Plant of the Month: Mandevilla Aloha Red

Bring a touch of the tropics to your garden this February with this tough performer that’s been bred in Australia. Mandevilla Aloha Red will climb onto frames, wire fencing and pergolas. Aloha Red produces bright red flowers with a glowing yellow throat from mid spring to late autumn which contrast beautifully against glossy green foliage. Suitable for in ground planting or pots. Full sun/part shade, heat tolerant, tolerates coastal conditions, protect from frost.

Tip: Aloha Red is not an overly aggressive climber and takes on a shrub like appearance if unable to climb onto surrounding supports.
