Verbena Almira Deep Blue is fast growing and in no time will add a vibrant splash of colour to gardens, containers, hanging baskets and window boxes. It has large clusters of vibrant blooms during Spring, Summer and Autumn. Removing spent flowers will encourage more blooms. Thrives in heat and full sun. Prefers free draining soil. Our Plant of the Month for October is Anigozanthos ‘Bush Diamond’. Anigozanthos ‘Bush Diamond’ is a naturally compact kangaroo paw which produces medium sized white flowers with a hint of pink all year round. It requires a sunny position in well drained soil and will tolerate light frost. Height 60cm, width 45cm.

Our Plant of the Month for September is Grevillea thelemanniana. Grevillea thelemanniana is a low spreading shrub with fine foliage. In Winter and Spring it has spidery red, gold tipped flowers and is bird attracting. Prefers a sunny open position in well drained soils. Light frost tolerance. Width 1.5m.

Plant of the Month: Agonis flexuosa

Our plant of the month is Agonis flexuosa, the WA Peppermint. It is a medium sized tree with graceful weeping branches suitable for shade, screening or windbreaks. It has peppermint scented leaves and white flowers in Spring. Possum habitat and attractive to nectar eating birds.
