Merry Christmas

Plant of the Month: Grevillea olivacea Red

Our Plant of the Month for December is Grevillea olivacea Red. Olivacea Red is a medium sized evergreen shrub that displays a profusion of red flowers from Winter to early Spring. It is great for hedges, screening and coastal sites. Prefers full sun but will tolerate some shade. Withstands long dry spells and moderate frost. Height 2 – 4m, width 2 – 6m.

Plant of the Month: Sisyrinchium ‘Devon Skies’

Our Plant of the Month for November is Sisyrinchium ‘Devon Skies’. Devon Skies is a clumping perennial with bright green strap like leaves that produces a dazzling display of blue flowers in Spring and Summer. It is ideal for containers, borders and creates a spectacular display when mass planted. Grows to 15cm high and 15-20cm wide.

Plant of the Month: Syzygium ‘Bush Christmas’

Our plant of the month for October is Syzygium ‘Bush Christmas’. Bush Christmas is a compact syzygium that if left unpruned can reach 3m in height and spread to 1.5m. It is great for topiary and hedging. During the Winter months the plant is highlighted with new growth that is a beautiful orange colour. Full sun to part shade.

Plant of the Month: Pimelea Pink Solitaire

Our plant of the month for September is Pimelea Pink Solitaire. Pink Solitaire is a spectacular miniature shrub featuring a very compact habit and magenta pink flowers. This drought tolerant native plant fills large patio pots with bright green glossy foliage and gorgeous pink pom pom blooms that flower from the end of each shoot in spring. Ideal for gardens, border plantings, rockeries and containers. 60cm x 50cm, full sun, light frost tolerant, drought tolerant, tolerates coastal conditions, attracts butterflies.
